My name is Rachel and I joined the All Creatures Veterinary team in 1998. I'm currently a Veterinary Assistant working towards my Veterinary Technician degree.
I am a graduate of Bradford VTI, Houston with a Degree in Veterinary Technology. I have been working in the Animal health/Veterinary field for the past 14 years. My background includes small and large animal veterinary care, wildlife conservation, wildlife population management and wildlife research. I'm grateful to be part of a very knowledgeable team that cares about every patient.
I recently graduated from Spokane Falls Community College and have previous experience baking at Cinnabon. I've always had a passion for caring for animals, and am so thankful All Creatures has made me part of such a reliable and friendly team. I've learned a great deal in my time at the clinic, knowledge that helps me better the life of my own dog, Pooka. I have all the confidence in our team for providing the best care for every patient.
I have been helping with All Creatures from its inception and working here officially since 2012. I live in Otis Orchards with my cat Ringo.
I grew up in Pinedale, Wyoming, and graduated from and worked for the University of Wyoming while Gordon completed his undergraduate studies. I worked for Kansas State University while Gordon earned his D.V.M. there. We moved to the Spokane area in 1988 and had our son, Caleb, a few weeks later. I am the office manager at All Creatures, which opened in 1992.
I became part of the All Creatures family in March of 1993. Dr. Jewett had already been my vet for several years and I knew he would be amazing to work with. Over the last twenty two years Dr. Jewett has encourage me to continue learning and experiencing all aspects involved in the veterinary world. Starting here at such a young age Dr. Jewett has definitely been a large part of my life including constantly educating me about veterinary medicine, the importance of ethics, honesty, spirituality, compassion and love for animals and people.
Two months after I started here we had a litter of Dalmatian puppies come in and from that litter I picked out Dottie. She became my very first competition obedience dog. From her my love for training, showing and loving dogs has just continued to grow! Working here at All Creatures has been wonderful and has also allowed me to achieve my goals in animal behavior education, canine training & showing but most importantly of all now I have been able to be a part-time stay & work at home mom. We are a very close family at All Creatures and together we are an incredible team always doing our best to care for your animal family.
Hi, my name is Carla. I have worked with both large and small animals all my life, and have been in the Veterinary field since 1998 and have been a part of the All Creatures Veterinary Clinic team since 2000 as a Veterinary assistant and receptionist. I am now mainly our receptionist and enjoy getting to know our many wonderful clients and their patients.
I have lived in the country all my life and enjoy all the outdoor adventures such as camping, hiking, and spending time with the family as they are a big part of our lives (especially our grandbabies). I have four (spoiled) small dogs and two cats.
Every day in the veterinary field is always a new and exciting adventure, we always seem to learn something new everyday. I feel extremely blessed to be a part of this very enthusiastic team.
